He Goes Before Us, He Goes With Us

We face many uncertainties in life. Career changes, finances, health, safety, etc. The unknown can be scary. However, we can have peace knowing that God is for us and faces those uncertainties with us.

“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!” Isaiah 26:3

Our God is omniscient. He knows everything that we will face. God goes before us, establishing the path we should take. He knows the details of our uncertainties and the people we will encounter. He knows the test results, the unexpected expenses, the synergy. God sets in motion events to provide for our needs in every situation.

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans 8:28

The path we walk and the challenges we face may not be what we expected. But we must keep our eyes on Him. We must seek His will. God has good things in store for those who love Him and follow Him. We must trust that His ways are better than ours.

“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.” Matthew 6:33

We must stay focused on God and not allow the uncertainties of life to distract us. We will find God in every moment if we only look for Him. We will have what we need to face each day, each challenge, each uncertainty, each step. Not only will God go before us, inviting us to follow, but He will also go with us. Providing peace, comfort, and guidance along the way.

“And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” John 14:27

“Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.” Psalm 23: 4

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.” Proverbs 3: 5-6

God wants to walk with us through life. He is our constant companion. Ready to guide us if we only ask and seek His will first. We never have to face uncertainties alone. God has gone before us, and He goes with us. We praise Him for who He is.
